yahoo-logo-changeYahoo announced they are updating their logo on September 4th at 9pm PST, and over the next thirty-days, they will be showcasing a variation a day of the logo on their home page.

The day one logo is shown here, and each day, Yahoo will change the logo in an effort to have “some fun while honoring the legacy of the present logo.”

Yahoo won’t share the final logo with us yet, but promises the new logo will retain the color purple, the iconic exclamation point and the famous yodel.

Here is a video of some of the logos Yahoo will be displaying over the 30-day period:

Again, the new logo will be finalized on September 4th at 9pm PST.

Postscript: The day two logo is live but keep in mind, you can track the daily logos at yahoo.com/dailylogo.
