About Antoine Grant
I’m the owner and CEO of HomeThreads, a technology-driven brand offering expertly curated and high-quality home furnishings with first-class customer service. By the age of 10, I was already a pint-sized entrepreneur. My first business was in desktop publishing, fondly named after my favorite stuffed animal, Tyrone Simpleton. Together we made business cards, brochures, booklets and more for small business owners.
Before starting HomeThreads, I led and grew the $1 billion bathroom and kitchen renovation businesses for Wayfair. That role gave me a clear perspective and understanding of marketplace dynamics and what it takes for suppliers and products to win on an infinite aisle. Earlier in my career, I was an associate partner at McKinsey & Company, a management consultant at Bain & Company and held various business and product development positions in education, media, real estate and technology companies. I’m also an investor in early-stage technology companies, venture funds and real estate.
I earned my MBA from Wharton and have bachelor’s degrees in philosophy, politics and economics from Claremont McKenna College. I live in Los Angeles with my wife and two children.
