NPower | Launching Tech Careers. Transforming Lives.

It has been a busy summer at NPower. We had the opportunity to take part in many important conversations, engage new partners and funders, and graduate more blossoming tech professionals. We hope you will re-live some of this summer's highlights with us.

This fall, we are excited to welcome a new class of trainees from all around the country, our largest class in the history of NPower! This new cohort of students will be well on their way to launching new careers in tech. And mark your calendars to join us at NPower's Annual Gala on October 11th in New York City, a celebration of innovation and impact. We hope to see you there!

AD COUNCIL CAMPAIGN LAUNCH

with Opportunity at Work

The “paper ceiling” is the invisible barrier that comes at every turn for workers without a bachelor's degree.
Biased algorithms, degree screens, stereotypes, misperceptions and the lack of alumni networks all contribute to the paper ceiling, creating barriers to economic mobility for STARs (workers Skilled Through Alternative Routes). NPower is proud to announce that we’ve joined a new coalition to champion inclusive, skills-based hiring practices for the 50% of all workers in the U.S. who are STARs. Together with Opportunity@Work, the Ad Council, and 20+ nonprofit and corporate organizations, we will create more equitable opportunities for all.
