NPower | Launching Tech Careers. Transforming Lives.
PATHWAYS
Dear Friend,

We are gearing up to graduate our Spring 2020 class of technology trainees. We’d like to take this moment to thank the 350 students who powered through the health pandemic and an economic recession to invest in building the skills they will need for the tech jobs of the future. We hope you will join us for an upcoming nation-wide graduation on August 6th. More details are forthcoming.

A Gift from Google

We are excited to announce Google.org's $1.8M grant that will help advance pathways for the young adult and veteran communities we serve. Their grant includes access to the Google IT Support Professional Certificate content which enhances NPower’s curriculum and offers an undeniable advantage to our students.

Meet Camron Williams

Camron Williams
Proudly representing the West Side of Detroit, Camron was pursuing a career in dermatology prior to joining NPower Michigan, but due to personal circumstances decided to take a break. With a keen interest in science and robotics since high school, she made the decision to join Detroit’s first cohort. She attributes her drive and passion to the influence of her parents. Camron’s commitment to learning was evident in her determination to succeed as a young woman of color in tech from day one.
Armed with the tools to start her internship at Microsoft Detroit, Camron is breaking through barriers and claiming her rightful space in tech.
