Today is National Non-Profit Day, a time to celebrate the immense impact of organizations and the unwavering dedication of the NPower team, partners, supporters, students, and volunteers. This special day provides an opportunity to recognize their consistent efforts in uplifting communities and driving positive change through technology education and empowerment!

At NPower, we are profoundly grateful for the collaborative spirit that propels our growth every single day. Together, we strive to bridge the digital divide, providing opportunities for young adults and veterans to access transformative education and career pathways in the tech industry. We can’t do our work without the partnership of other nonprofits and the continuum of support these partnerships provide, to collectively advance a mission of economic prosperity we all care about. As we commemorate this day, we invite everyone to join us in our mission and get involved. Whether you volunteer your time, donate to support our initiatives, or advocate for digital inclusion, together, we can make a lasting impact and empower more lives through technology.

On this National Non-Profit Day, let us unite and amplify the voices of those who tirelessly work toward positive change. NPower's vision is to create a more equitable future where opportunities in technology are accessible to all, regardless of background or circumstance. By joining forces, we can drive innovation, foster diversity, and uplift communities. Together, we have the power to shape a brighter tomorrow, where technology becomes a force for good, transforming lives and opening doors to boundless possibilities.

Stand with us on August 17th and beyond as we continue to make a difference and inspire a new generation of change-makers. Together, we can build a world where every individual's potential is unleashed, and no one is left behind. Together, we are the catalysts for transformation, and together, we can create a brighter future for all. Join us in our efforts and be a part of this incredible journey toward a more inclusive and empowered world!

COMMAND SHIFT

Diverse thought fosters innovation, which is why NPower's Command Shift Coalition recently launched the Diversity Directive. This groundbreaking resource was created to provide guidance, strategies, relevant case studies, and more to meet companies where they are on their DEI journeys.

A recent survey conducted by the coalition found that a staggering 75% of American adults think that US companies have not fulfilled their Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) commitments made during the pandemic. One-fourth of respondents also admitted uncertainty about what actions companies should take to address DEI initiatives.

By leveraging the valuable resources provided by the Diversity Directive, companies can take tangible steps towards meaningful and lasting change, benefitting their employees, their businesses, and society as a whole. To access the Diversity Directive and learn more about the work Command Shift is a part of, visit commandshift.org/diversitydirective.
