Covering Climate Collaborative

The Covering Climate Collaborative is a best-in-class partnership of the leading science and journalism organizations, supporting 22 newsrooms across the country with a track record of inclusive reporting on climate change as well as social justice issues. Our local newsrooms include Pulitzer-prize winners, top local TV newsrooms, innovative digital start-ups, and leading journalism schools. Together, the Covering Climate newsrooms are reporting on critical climate issues affecting their regions, such as sea level rise, drought, and wildfires, and sharing the ways communities can take action.

News Is Out

In early 2022, six local and queer-owned LGBTQ+ publishers came together to form News is Out, a national Queer Media Collaborative with a mission to deliver compelling journalism that engages, amplifies, and connects the LGBTQ+ community. Our goal is to advance LGBTQ+ equality through solutions-oriented journalism, in the face of continued discrimination.

Word In Black

Word In Black is a groundbreaking news collaboration of the nation’s leading Black publishers who have teamed up to focus on both high-impact journalism projects and business transformation toward long-term sustainability. Word In Black frames the narrative and fosters solutions for racial inequities in America.
