1I wouldn't put much stock (in fact, effectively none) in the information about copyright provided by a YouTube video. More likely they misread an actual explanation of copyright principles (especially fair use) and needed to remove the audio anyway for separate production reason.– user4657Commented Apr 2, 2018 at 5:29
