Meaning with the hourse purchase you became party to the contract with them. I don't know what the legality of this argument is.

Jun 20 at 11:55 comment added MSalters As a general rule in common-law and civil-law countries alike, contracts require a " meeting of minds" or at least a similar concept: a mutual understanding of what agreement they want to enter. It definitely can't be a contract renewal, because that would renew the previous contract with the previous owner.
