Job Description

We are looking to hire a Project Manager in the Central Asia region for a project construction of gas powered Combined Heat and Power Plant. Project will be done under FIDIC Yellow book EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) contract.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and control the Project progress
  • Ensures accurate, comprehensive and timely project reporting
  • Develops clearly and implements the requirements of the Scope of Work
  • Completes the project until hand over to Operations
  • Closes all contractor actions
  • Develops a complete understanding of the contract and any relevant subcontracts in order to provide full support to the project management team
  • Establishes and defines the project organization, defining the project staffing requirements, coordinating staffing with supporting organization managers
  • Ensures effective and timely coordination between design, procurement, material management, and construction for integration of technical content and schedule activities
  • Ensures that all contractual and legal matters related to the project are dealt properly and promptly, seeking advice and guidance from higher Management as necessary
  • Follow up the Contractor progress report and conduct weekly meetings and site visits
  • Emphasizes safety throughout all phases of the project

Qualifications

Reporting to the Country Manager, the suitable incumbents should qualify as follows:

Qualifications & Skills

  • University Degree in Electrical Engineering or other related discipline.
  • Minimum 20 years of professional experience in gas turbine projects
  • Minimum five to seven (5 -7) years of experience in Management position
  • Experience in Central Asian region
  • At least 3 projects completed with FIDIC type contract
  • Good command of the Russian Language (preferable)
  • Professional use of MS Office
  • Managerial and organizational skills.
