Charlotte Mortimer is a teacher from England, living in Hong Kong. Her favourite childhood memories involve being surrounded by dogs, cats, rabbits, gerbils, hamsters and horses. She loves animals so much she became a vegetarian at aged 10 and still is!

Jordan is a Volunteer Research Writer who finds much joy in writing articles on the latest business trends and topics ranging from environmental preservation, climate change, to business ethics and government policymaking. One of his major hobbies is reading The Economist to and fro between home and the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA), where he currently works as an Associate Administrator in the Corporate Communications team.
Kelvin is an IT expert, ocean advocate, and ocean literacy field educator from Kenya and founder of Trash Talk in Action, an initiative to help empower kids from a local community in Mombasa Kenya to address the challenges related to UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development.
Martina is an Italian journalist and editor living in Hong Kong with experience in climate change reporting and sustainability. She is currently the Managing Editor at Earth.Org and Kids.Earth.Org. She holds two BA degrees, in Translation/Interpreting Studies and Journalism, and an MA in International Development from the University of Vienna. Before moving to Asia, she worked in Vienna at the United Nations Global Communication Department and in Italy as a reporter for a local newspaper.
Michael is a MSc student in a joint program between University College Dublin and Justus Liebig University, studying global change: ecosystem science and policy. He also holds two bachelor’s degrees in environmental science and policy, as well as integrative animal biology from the University of South Florida. Michael has a strong veterinary background, working hands on in marine and wildlife rehabilitation for several years. He has also completed research with the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute and other conservation organizations in the United States.
A teacher by profession, Murray is passionate about learning and exchanging ideas no matter your age or where you’re from. He tries to lead by example and seeks to provide a space for people to find community, reconnect to nature, and envision a future fit for the next seven generations.
