All-time Stats

See a total number of your subscribers. It includes all your email subscribers, free email subscribers, paid email subscribers, and WordPress.com subscribers. These statistics should give you a comprehensive understanding of your subscriber base:

  • Total email subscribers: People who have signed up to follow your blog via email through the Jetpack subscriptions feature. Add a Subscribe block to your website to increase this number.
  • Free email subscribers: Email followers who are not paying for your newsletters.
  • Paid email subscribers: Email subscribers who have signed up to receive your paid newsletters. For more information, please see Jetpack Paid Newsletters.
  • WordPress.com subscribers: Subscribers who have signed up to follow your blog or site via the WordPress.com Reader.

Subscribers section

See your most recent subscribers on The Subscribers panel, including both WordPress.com subscribers and email subscribers. The list is ordered based on the date of subscription, with the newest subscribers appearing at the top.

You can switch between your subscribers on WordPress.com and those subscribed to your email newsletters using the control on the top-right corner of the panel.

While viewing WordPress.com subscribers, clicking on any subscriber takes you to their website or blog for more information about them and their content.

Click on the View all link to access the complete list of subscribers with more detailed information.

Number of Subscribers section

See your number of subscribers in a visual format: counts for email subscribers, WordPress.com subscribers, and social media followers.

If you have linked your website to your social media accounts (including Facebook, LinkedIn, or Tumblr), Jetpack automatically fetches the number of followers you have for each of the connected networks and display them here. Read more about how to connect to social media networks.

Emails section

See open and click data for your latest posts in the Emails panel. Examine these engagement metrics to determine the effectiveness of your email campaigns and identify popular content.

These components collectively offer a comprehensive overview of your subscriber statistics, allowing you to track growth, engagement, and overall subscriber activity. With the provided data, you can refine your strategies, optimize email campaigns, and effectively engage with your audience.

You can click on a particular post title to see more stats for that email, such as:

  • the number of recipients
  • total opens and open rate
  • countries, devices, and email clients of subscribers that engaged with the emails

Click on the View all link to access the complete list of emails and their open and click stats.

Troubleshoot missing subsribers

This might happen if you recently setup a staging or development site that caused Jetpack to have an identity crisis.
But don’t worry! Jetpack still has the subscriber data – we just need to reconnect them to the correct site. If you have a paid plan and have lost your stats or follwers, please contact support with the following information:

  • Your current site URL.
  • Any prior development URLs or subdirectory/subdomain URLs.
  • The WordPress.com username used to connect Jetpack

If you have a free user, please post a request on the Jetpack forum.
