For our client, a large international company operating in the furniture market with commercial branches worldwide, we are searching for the
MARKETING DIRECTOR
Responsibilities:
The Marketing Director will be responsible for ensuring the achievement of the company’s global revenue and margin targets by defining marketing and communication strategies/policies.
The director will coordinate a team of resources.
He/She will also support the Board and the Leadership Team in upholding and supporting the sales of the company's products and in creating competitive advantages for the company in the reference market.
The marketing director's responsibilities include generating unique marketing plans, developing pricing strategies and meeting marketing objectives. He/She represents the company's brand and drives strategies to increase product awareness by monitoring the market, competitors, and industry trends.
Activities:
- Develop the marketing plan in line with product positioning;
- Monitor marketing costs;
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and product profitability;
- Research and develop different marketing opportunities and plans to support the implementation of new marketing action plans
- Work closely with other managers to ensure company runs smoothly
- Prepare annual Marketing budget plans, schedule expenditures, and ensure that the marketing team meets their quotas and goals.
- Research and develop marketing opportunities and plans, understanding customers requirements, identify market trends and determine system improvements to achieve marketing goals
- Execute and develop of marketing initiatives
- Define marketing strategies and implement effective marketing action to develop initiatives that can generate consistent year-over-year revenue increase in alignment with global strategy.
- Identify new business opportunities among current and prospective customers as well as clear strategies to convert them into orders, according to sales team.
- Coordinate the information flow around sales activities and provide market intelligence to the business in order to ensure the achievement of sales targets.
- Prepare the annual budget to meet marketing goals
- Help developing new products and services using market research
- Manage marketing staff
- Implement e-commerce strategies with the support of external consulting firms and the IT department;
- Online Marketing (SEO, Blog, Retargeting, Affiliation, Newsletter, Social Media);
- Monitor CRM & Sales performance;
- Support promotional activities (development of promotional plans and product selection);
- Supervise content Management (Homepage, banners, special galleries, landing pages, graphics for newsletters) dedicated to marketing campaigns;
- Lead Generation Management;
- Participate in planning meetings;
- Define and oversee the implementation of communication strategies to build and strengthen the company brand and its products within the reference channel;
- Ensure effective internal communication to strengthen employees branding, facilitate organizational efficiency, convey the company's goals, values, and principles among employees, thereby increase engagement and foster a positive work environment and sense of belonging;
- Oversee the professional development of all marketing resources;
- Participate in meetings and working groups with the management team.
Competencies:
Only applications from professionals with the following qualifications will be considered:
- Degree in Economics (Economics and Commerce/Marketing and Communication) and a Master’s degree;
- Solid experience in roles such as Senior Marketing Manager or Marketing Director, with team management experience within design-oriented companies;
- Autonomy;

Location: Venice, Veneto, Italy
Compensation Package: RAL: €80-90k + MBO.
