    The role of #DataEngineer is becoming increasingly crucial for making strategic decisions. But what does a 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿 do? We asked Artemisa, Senior Data Engineer at Assist Digital, to shed some light on this important role. “As a Data Engineer, my main responsibilities include 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗽𝗶𝗽𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 for both batch and real-time data processing. I develop ETL processes to clean, transform, and load data from various sources, and I collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs. My challenges are handling large data volumes and keeping up with the evolving technology landscape. But I take pride in the fact that 𝗺𝘆 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮-𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻-𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵. Furthermore, developing innovative data solutions and witnessing their successful implementation and use by various teams gives me a great sense of accomplishment. I really appreciate our environment that fosters 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵, and supports idea-sharing and continuous learning.     🌿Many innovative insights at the Advisory Board meeting “𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐎𝐂𝐗: 𝐔𝐧𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲” held by the Omnichannel Customer Experience Observatory of the Politecnico di Milano. Do you know the 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀 of linking #MarTech and #sustainability? Here are some insights: 📉 30% reduction in operational costs 🧡 57% of customers are more loyal to companies addressing social inequalities 🙌 75% of employees would not change jobs if a company demonstrates a commitment to sustainability And how to gather these benefits? As partners of the Osservatori Digital Innovation, we discussed at the workshop, alongside other stakeholders in the field, how MarTech can enhance internal processes, enrich customer experiences, boost employee productivity and satisfaction, and optimize company economics and KPIs.
