Elon Musk's Reaction To Starship's First-Ever Landing Is All Of Us | Watch

Starship dropped jaws on June 6 when it notched its most successful mission ever. Right from its launch in Texas, it completed all its objective before having a fiery atmospheric re-entry and splashdown in the Indian Ocean.

As SpaceX moves closer to flight five of Starship, it shared a video summing up the mega rocket's mission and the excitement it brought.

"The fourth flight of Starship brought us closer to a rapidly reusable future," it captioned the video.

Featuring in the video is company CEO Elon Musk who watched the 400-feet-tall launch vehicle make history from Starbase, Texas, with his youngest son latched to him.

Equally excited and nervous where SpaceX employees who worked hard to turn the dream of watching Starship do the impossible into reality. Cheers and laughter filled the company headquarters in Hawthorne, California where people stood in awe admiring arguably the biggest spaceflight event in recent years.

Musk recently said that the fifth flight of Starship is likely in late July. With key technologies already validated in the fourth test, SpaceX will now aim to recover the rocket's two stages in the next mission.

The company will also bring into use the 'Mechazilla' tower to catch Starship's Super Heavy Booster after launch for the first time.

Starship lifted off for the first on April 20 last year but exploded just seconds later after veering off-course. SpaceX has since come a long way thanks to several changes in the launch infrastructure like installing a water deluge system to mitigate Super Heavy's immense thrust on the pad and adopting technologies like the hot-staging (it separates second stage from Booster).

When the rocket is fully ready, Starship will not only fulfill SpaceX's dream of trips to Mars but also of NASA who wants it for landing astronauts on the Moon.
