House Of The Dragon Explicit Sex Scene Receives Backlash; Fans Left Horrified Call It 'Most Unnecessary Scene...'

House of the Dragon fans were left horrified by this week's episode due to the brothel scene. While the original show Game of Thrones also used many explicit scenes for its storytelling, fans could not get behind the reasoning for this one. One of the characters is seen performing oral sex on another and it has left fans distributed around the world, many wondering why the scene was added in the first place.

The scene follows King Aegon II Targaryen (played by Tom Glynn-Carney) who takes Team Green soldiers to a brothel after enjoying a night out drinking. In an attempt to help his squire lose his virginity, they enter the brothel and the King is seen pulling down the curtains of the private area exposing many people amid sex acts.

Many took to their social media account to call out the makers for the scene. Oe person said: 'HBO making sure the scripts have enough brothel scenes with DONG in them to remind people they're in fact watching HBO.'

Another user disturbed from the scene said, 'So many dongs in tonight's episode of House of the Dragon." Fans also dubbed it as the weirdest moment in the season, One reddit user said, 'Wow that [sex act] was very in your face. I was expecting to see sex but didn't count on that. The show never ceases to amaze me.'

A user was surprised the episode was aired with the scene intact. A fan wrote, 'Wow this episode had everything! The weirdest [sex act] I've ever seen, the graphic depiction of a decapitated child that we were robbed of last episode, a Kings guard crappier than Bobby B's. I could go on!'

Meanwhile, the scene further leads to Aegon interacting with Aemond who is also found in the same brothel. While the scene leads them to a different location even if it is in the brothel, fans could not understand why the sexual scenes were added in.
