Kalki 2898 AD is currently being talked about worldwide. It also collected over Rs 700 crores in one week and the makers are esthetic the film was made on a massive budget of Rs 600 crore. The film led by Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and more also saw cameos from many south actors and directors. One of the biggest name on the list was Vijay Devarakonda. Now reports have revealed how much he charged for the same.

Among the cameos appearances, they also included Dulquer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur, Ram Gopal Varma and SS Rajamouli. Their roles have generated significant buzz among fans as they brought more charm to the films. Vijay Devarakonda was seen playing the role of Arjuna from the Mahabharata. Meanwhile, rumours say that he will be seen playing an extended role in the sequel.

Despite such a significant role, it is being revealed that he did not charge any fee for his cameo. Gulf News revealed that it was his way of showing his support for the grand project. The report also claimed, that other stars also did not charge for their short roles in the film.

Kalki 2898 AD directed by Nag Ashwin is a sci-fi with mythological elements. It takes place 6000 years after the Mahabharata war as Kashi is the last city standing. It follows Bhairava, a bounty hunter who aims to capture Deepika Padukone's SUM-80 who is prophesied to give birth to the last avatar of Lord Vishnu.

While Amitabh Bachchan appears as Ashwatthama of the epic Mahabharata, Kamal Haasan is seen playing the villain Yaskin, the Supreme Leader.
