Job Description

  • Work closely with clients (with internal cross-functional teams) and the solutions management team to develop client-specific detailed Requirement Definition, gap-analysis and use-cases.
  • Team center Configuration skills, mapping raw requirements to PLM / Team center framework. Designing PLM application landscape
  • Experience in ‘brown field’ - Team center implementations involving complex / significant data migration and cut over activities
  • Team center Solution Designing for both Client and Server and integration with third party application
  • Prepare Functional Specification, Technical Specification documents.
  • Develop Industry best practice PLM solutions to address customer objectives.
  • Define/Design Team center architecture, Data Model for CAD, Document, Requirement Management with CAD and ALM integration
  • Team center customization. configuration, development and solution mapping.
  • Solution definition, development fo:
    • ECAD Teamcenter Integration: Configuration and Customization
    • Teamcenter Polarion Integration
    • ALM Team center Integration (Artifactory)
    • Document management (Docs, DHF, DMR)
    • Auto CAD, Solid Works - CAD, BOM Management
Knowledge in

  • Team center UA - Workflow, Structure Manager, Access Manager, Preference Manager, MPP, BOM Management, Query, PLM XML.
  • BMIDE Naming/Revision rules, Deep copy rules, Action rules
  • BMIDE Packaging, Hot & Cold deployment
  • CAD UGNX, Part, Assembly & Drafting, Part Families, Reuse Library, UDF Library, Import-Export.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Understanding the business requirements, developing & delivering Solutions, promoting conformance to established system & solution architecture standards and best practices.
  • Work in collaboration with Team center architects & functional experts from Engineering, CAD team, MBD / MBE (Model Based Design/Enterprise) to evaluate & improve business processes and arrive at mutual, cost-effective solutions
  • Lead & direct Team center architects and developer resources engaged in understanding the business requirements, developing & delivering IT system solutions, promoting conformance to established system & solution architecture standards and best practices.
  • Support the PLM Project Managers in the planning and effective application of technical elements of change, and risk management principles where required.
  • Understand & drive all projects implementations following as appropriate ALM / Tollgate and Agile / SCRUM process
