Montanhydraulik India was founded in 1997 and is the leading provider in the hydropower energy generation market as well as customized cylinders in India. Montanhydraulik India specializes in hydraulic units, electrical and electronic control systems as well as complex switchgear for dam construction. These are designed, produced and tested in detail directly at the location in Chennai. In addition to engineering and production, Montanhydraulik India is also deployed on site worldwide to install and commission complete hydraulic and electric drive systems for operating lock and dam gates. Montanhydraulik India is specialized in hydraulic aggregates, electrical and electronic control systems, and complex switching systems for barrage construction. These are developed, manufactured, and extensively tested directly at our site in Chennai. In addition to engineering and production, Montanhydraulik India is also active onsite all over the world, in order to install and commission complete hydraulic and electrical drive systems for the actuation of lock and barrage gates.

Montanhydraulik achieved next milestone in globalization and growth: 100% acquisition of our subsidiary Montanhydraulik India in Chennai, India We are happy to share exciting news today: Montanhydraulik India is now 100% owned by Montanhydraulik Group. The gaining of the missing 27% of the shares is a significant success and opens up opportunities in growth and excellence. The next important step is the even deeper integration of MH India: Deeper integrating into our international company creates synergies and enhances operational efficiency. We are optimistic that this will lead to better resource utilization and overall improved performance. The presence in India not only strengthens our global market position but also allows us to deepen local customer relationships and gain a deeper understanding of the Indian market. Among other products, Montanhydraulik India stands for our sophisticated hydraulic power units, electrical controllers and large cylinders for hydropower. Furthermore, the colleagues from MH India are always on-site when it comes to the installation, wiring, piping and commissioning of large infrastructure projects.
