We're thrilled to be partnering with the Jewish Education Innovation Challenge (JEIC) to launch a new 10-part YouTube Series through our UNPACKED division with the goal of helping Jews develop a personal connection to their faith. We hope to achieve this by exploring topics that look beyond the “dos and don’ts” of #Judaism to understand the “why,” the #spiritual element that elevates, punctuates, and gives context to the “what” of our religion. This series will be featured on the Big Jewish Ideas channel on YouTube (link in the comments) while JEIC and our Unpacked for Educators (UED) team will be working closely with selected schools to incorporate the series into their respective curricula. Bonjour “On déballe!" UNPACKED has launched a French-language YouTube channel! In order to further our efforts of combatting misinformation and empowering more young people today, UNPACKED has launched a new French-language YouTube channel. “On déballe!”, which translates to “We unpack”, features popular videos from the UNPACKED English-language channel such as ‘The History of Ethiopian Jews’ and ‘The Dreyfus Affair’, translated into French and hosted by native French speakers. Like the English-Language channel, “On déballe! will provide nuanced, fact-based content on Jewish and Israel-related topics in French - the fifth most spoken language worldwide. “Our channel will not only educate French-speaking audiences on Israel and Jewish-related topics but also serve to combat antisemitism, a growing concern in France and around the globe,” said OpenDor Media’s Chief Executive Officer Andrew Savage. “We believe that education is the key to safeguarding against misinformation, which leads to antisemitic sentiment.” Read more: https://lnkd.in/dDFeBC_N

We're honored to share that Noam Weissman, OpenDor Media’s EVP, has been selected as a Fellow in the esteemed #CivilSocietyFellowship, a partnership of the Anti-Defamation League League and the Aspen Institute. Noam joins a diverse cohort of 22 Fellows across the U.S., representing various professions and political ideologies. Now in its fourth year, the Fellowship focuses on cultivating leaders committed to addressing critical societal issues like racial injustice, mental health advocacy, and economic disparities. This collaborative initiative aims to bridge divides, strengthen trust, and build a more inclusive society. Over three years, Noam will spend five weeks in structured retreats exploring leadership, core values, and visions for a more just and equitable society.
