Not to call anyone out...but accounting firms need to pick up the pace on their gen-AI integration, ASAP. "The industry needs to buy in and get together around adoption, because you’re facing a major labor shortage and a general reputational challenge,” says Isaac Heller, Co-Founder and CEO of Trullion - the leading AI-powered accounting software - in Bloomberg. Who already committed a billion dollars to transforming how their accountants work, and who's being cautious and falling behind? Read about it in Bloomberg, linked below. Amir B.

“So for the last question–as your venture capitalist and board member–I'd like to ask you how I've hurt you,” Michael Eisenberg asks Matan Bar on the newest episode of Invested. Co-Founder and CEO of Melio, Matan spoke with Michael about everything entrepreneurship–from starting a first company with a questionable name (IYKYK) alongside Ron Gura, Erez Dickman and Maya Bar Gura, to Melio’s humble beginnings as a manual bookkeeping firm and how it grew into a four-billion-dollar B2B payments solution. For a case study in how good storytelling gets you an audience with George W. Bush, what it means to keep small business in business, and some great banter in between - listen 👇 Ilan Atias Tomer Barel

Mind-blowing: Windward launched the first genAI agent for maritime and trade - which is expected to return up to 88X ROI for large maritime organizations.  The agent, MAI Expert, uses 10 years of Windward’s maritime risk expertise + proprietary insight data, while analyzing different risk parameters (e.g. global regulatory risk indicators, P&I insurance, and customer-defined settings) to create detailed vessel profile risk assessments, including adverse media screening and auto email writing. Launched in partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS), MAI Expert saves maritime companies 20-30 minutes per vessel screening and helps accelerate decision-making processes–leading to increased productivity and scaled ROI.  Hats off Windward team - this is what genAI is really about. Learn more about MAI Expert with the link in the comments.  Ami Daniel Matan Peled

    Co-Founder & CEO @ Agora

Last week, I had the privilege of speaking at the first Vertical Software Meetup in Israel, hosted by Tomer Diari and our partners at Aleph. It was an amazing opportunity to share my experience at Agora RE with other incredible Israeli entrepreneurs. Expanding our product suite has always been a key part of our strategy and vision to become an industry leader, and following the Vertical SaaS playbook is essential to achieve this goal. A big thanks to the other fantastic panel speakers, Vered Raviv Schwarz, Amos Haggiag. I hope to see you all again soon! Founders: How do you reach a million dollars in ARR without writing a line of code?  Why would you want PE to acquire your competitors?  What if you’ve been defining your TAM wrong this whole time - and it’s actually much bigger than you think?    The discussion that came out of last week’s panel was both timely and backed by experience. Big thank you to participants Bar Mor, Vered Raviv Schwarz, Amos Haggiag and the incredible founders who joined Tomer Diari last week for a deep-dive into all things vertical software. Watch the full panel for insights like what goes into carving out a big TAM, how to dominate your market early, when to expand your product suite and what goes into becoming a category leader. Full video linked in the comments.
