    Designed and delivered a new programme to help business owners and managers get to grips with Digital. The initial programme started in March 2021 and we run it 3 times per year, January / March / August.

    The programme is grounded in practice and well rounded in the reality of taking action based on practical experience. The principle is to learn by doing. We also help those in the programme to implement or unblock challenges they may have. These are typically in their analytics…

    The programme is grounded in practice and well rounded in the reality of taking action based on practical experience. The principle is to learn by doing. We also help those in the programme to implement or unblock challenges they may have. These are typically in their analytics, website, getting engagement and setting up widgets and forms. Ending in a solid business design that structures how the business works.

    The best part is that those in the programme start to see their business in a new light. What starts off as words such as benefits based sales and marketing become not only real but cornerstones of how participants think about their business. Lead generation approaches go beyond capturing email addresses and can change how companies view their whole sales approach.
    It is a certified programme with 8 companies per round.

While it was a challenge we have found that designing them for an online environment has had more benefits than expected. We reach a larger audience, we get more participation and crucially we are getting more companies to take action. We can also use some of the tools and techniques we discuss with participants.

    The major programme that we are running with Kunskapspartner in Lund for ALMI in association with Tillvaxtverket and Regional Skane has already involved hundreds of businesses. We now run 2 seminars each month and a week with workshops where companies work on their business. It is all done from a pragmatic perspective based on real world experiences. The businesses get to discuss their journey together and join our ALUMI of members that meet each quarter. More to follow as we add more cases and examples to encourage others to lead in their business development.

    In conjunction with a board appointment I started a project to use the technology capability of the business in a new sector, that of advertising monitoring, scanning and categorising. The work is ongoing and is expected to have a beta launch mid 2020. The project will be ideal for any business either advertising online today or planning to advertise online. It is also very useful for Agencies and Consultancies that work with digital advertising.

    1. All too many companies have badly designed ad campaigns
    2. Ad fraud is very real

The tool we have developed helps both MarTech companies to understand how their customers can make better use of their technology tools as it sets them into the context of their clients business.
