🚨 🚨 🚨 Our second annual report is launched today at an event in Dublin Castle where guest of honour, Minister Neale Richmond TD will speak to over 200 Charter signatories and stakeholders. The report shows that among the Charter’s original signatories, female representation on boards increased to 39pc at the beginning of this year, up from 33pc at the same time in 2022. On executive committees, the figure increased to 37pc, up from 33pc in 2022. And at CEO level, 25pc of these firms’ had female CEOs, whereas in 2022 the figure was 21pc. The increases were not confined to board and senior management level. Firms who signed up the Charter in 2023 saw large increases in female representation at junior management level – with representation increasing from 43pc at the start of 2023 to 52pc at the start of 2024. Led by industry and supported by the Government of Ireland, Ireland’s Women in Finance Charter underpins the financial services industry’s ambition to see increased participation of women at all levels, including junior, middle and senior management, leadership and board roles within financial services organisations based in Ireland.
