Our assessment centre is the perfect opportunity for us to get to know you, and for you to meet other graduates, some of which you could be working with. Here are a few tips to make sure you're prepared. Dress for an interview First impressions matter, and you'll want to create a good one, so make sure you come dressed in the right attire. Refresh your memory It's probably been quite some time since you submitted your application. Before the session, make sure you re-read the job advert and remind yourself of our purpose and values Come prepared Make sure you do your research on DCC and the graduate programme so that you can showcase yourself and why you would be a good fit for DCC. If you've been successful in your application and the online assessment, you'll be invited to join us at the in-person assessment centre. We've already told you about what this day involves, but here's how you can prepare. Sort your travel plans Our assessment centres are held in Dublin. If you're coming from another country, you'll need to arrange flights. We can help you with this! Familiarise yourself with the timings When you receive your assessment centre invite, we'll include timings for the day. There will be plenty of people on hand to help you on the day, but make sure you're aware of the plans to avoid stress on the day. Re-read the job advert Refresh your memory on what skills are required for our graduate programme. Find a way to showcase these skills and abilities on the day through the interviews, presentations and group exercises that will take place. The final stage of our recruitment process is our in-person assessment centre. This session gives you the opportunity to showcase your skills and strengths through interviews, presentations and group exercises. The second stage of our recruitment process is the online assessment, consisting of behavioural, verbal and numerical questions to assess your approach to problem solving. If you've been invited to complete this stage, here are a few tips to help you complete it to the best of your ability. Find a quiet space You'll need time to focus and space to think. Find somewhere quiet to allow yourself to focus and answer questions to the best of your ability. Take notes Some of the questions you'll be faced with will include scenario based problems. Making notes will help you identify key details to focus your answer. Take your time The test isn't timed, but will take approximately 45 minutes to complete.
