Meet Li Wei, a member of our Advanced Safety & User Experience (ASUX) Team. Li joined Aptiv in 2017 as a passionate engineer eager to make her mark. Today, she leads a team with the same enthusiasm, guiding others toward their own professional milestones. "Project opportunities and the efficient development team have all contributed to my rapid growth," she reflects. As a team lead, Li is not just focused on her own success but is dedicated to fostering an environment where others can thrive. Her advice to those eager to elevate their careers? "Believe in your potential and determination. Set a goal for yourself and pursue it, and you will succeed." Among the many memories Li has created at Aptiv, one stands out vividly. "In 2023, Suzhou Technical Center had a bring your kids to work day! It was very interesting for my 12 year old son to see how his mommy works and a special moment for me," she recalls with a smile. If you'd like to be a part of our ASUX team at Aptiv, check out our website for open positions.

Upgrading a vehicle's features can be as simple as swapping out a hard drive! Consumers are demanding more complex vehicle features, and OEMs need adaptable platforms to keep up. Aptiv's Open Server Platform (OSP) is a high-performance compute solution that evolves with the vehicle. When the OSP ages and can't run the latest applications or updates, the owner can easily exchange it at a dealership for a newer, more capable version — without altering the rest of the vehicle's architecture.
