This job is for you if:

  • You have 2+ years’ experience as a C++ programmer
  • You have a strong understanding of trigonometry and linear algebra
  • You’re motivated to perform at a high level, even when completing challenging tasks
  • You have a highly structured way of thinking and are able to understand complex systems
  • You’re independent and have excellent problem-solving skills
  • You’re excellent at understanding written English and can communicate verbally and through text at an intermediate level or better
  • You regularly play video games in your free time

Your task will be:

  • Implementing and maintaining UI framework and related gameplay features on top of Slate and UMG in Unreal Engine
  • Working inside of Unreal Engine using a combination of C++, Blueprints and custom tools
  • Strong cooperation with the representatives of designers, artists, and other fields
  • Writing robust, and maintainable code
  • Optimizing and debugging both code and content across the game as needed

It`s advantageous if:

  • You have worked on at least one game as a C++ programmer
  • You have experience with Unreal Engine’s Slate and UMG systems
  • You’re experienced at using common game engines (e.g. Unreal or Unity)
  • You have experience with iterative development
