About us
Since its foundation in 1925, DEKRA has been ensuring the safety of human interaction with technology and the environment through a tradition of innovative thinking. This innovative approach is something we strive to embrace, whether it's in the hands-on tasks our employees perform or in the community-shaping office life. DEKRA Technology & Services Kft. in Budapest is a center of excellence and a core pillar of DEKRA's Global Integrated IT organization (GIIT), which replaced the previous local IT structure. To define ourselves as a start-up in the classical sense of the term is less accurate, but it is the flexible corporate structure & decision-making mechanisms, and the ability to react quickly to change, that drives this spirit. Although the stability provided by our parent company means that we have less exposure to market risks, it does not mean that we are just a spin-off company. The terms 'firm' or 'company' are more a legal interpretation of who we really are, as we see ourselves first and foremost as a community, shaped together according to our individual needs. After three years of operation as a subsidiary of DEKRA Akademie Kft., the new company DEKRA Technology & Services Kft. was founded and established in June 2023 and works at both industry & culture level to continue the tradition of innovation through a community of people committed to their profession, who are creating new value in the process.

Despite the extremely hot weather, everyone gave their best, pushing through the heat with smiles and supportive cheers. We are proud that our office hosted the recent DEKRA ExCom event. At this conference, the DEKRA Board and the team of Executive Vice Presidents were our guests. It was a truly special event because these high-level leaders meet three times a year in such settings and this time they chose DTS as a venue. 💚 We are thrilled to host international colleagues in our modern office, which is perfect for such large-scale conferences and workshops. We as DEKRA celebrate the implementation of this pioneering Act that cemented privacy into our corporate mindset and our daily operations. “We are constantly working to strengthen this human-centric approach encouraged by GDPR by reinforcing the trust of individuals into our processing of their personal data through transparency, security and accountability”. Today, I'm celebrating my first work-anniversary at DEKRA Technology & Services. 🥳 It might not be important for most of the people, but it's a huge thing for me. I've spent more than 9 years in a completely different industry where my whole career started 🙂, and where I had my very first (and hopefully last) burnout 🙁. I'm celebrating a successful industry change. 💪 I'm celebrating the first year of the healing journey - because it's not over yet, but I'm on the right track. 🧘♀️ I'm celebrating all the new connections I've made in the past year. Thanks to my job, I've met wonderful people, visited beautiful countries. ME, the hardcore introvert, who sometimes anxious to leave the flat or talk to her own family. ✈🌍 I'm posting this to give hope to all those who are going through anything similar that I have been in the past decade: - not finding the work-life balance and getting no help from their manager; - being afraid to leave their job thinking what if the new place will be even worse; - being underpaid even after asking for a raise; - applying to many jobs over almost a whole year and getting ghosted after multiple rounds by big companies; - getting discredited for the years of work and achievements you did; - getting your ideas stolen and presented by someone else. These are just a few examples. Don't give up, the right company is waiting for you, the right people will find you. 🤞 Reach out to friends and family, talk about what you are going through. 🆘 Asking for help is a brave and hard thing to do, but worth it. 🦚 And for my fellow introvert connections: don't let your introversion stop you from great things happening to you. You might need to be a bit more creative to make it work for you, but we are good at that, right? 😉
