To celebrate 15 years of achieving the impossible, we're thrilled to reveal the limited-run Rimac Nevera 15th Anniversary Edition! In 2009, Mate Rimac founded Rimac Automobili, despite being told it was impossible to build a car company in Croatia. In 2011, he set world records with his self-converted all-electric BMW, dismissively dubbed a "washing machine." By 2018, Rimac unveiled the world’s first all-electric hypercar with unprecedented performance figures. Just three years later, that car became the Nevera, exceeding all expectations and setting over twenty world records, solidifying its place as the ultimate hypercar. New ‘Voltron Nevera Powered by Rimac’ ride opens at Europa-Park, the largest amusement park in Germany! Its new Croatian-themed area found inspiration in Rimac hypercars and technology for their biggest rollercoaster to date. Now, this multi-launch new ride is open to Europa-Park visitors, sweeping through replicated Croatian landscapes and telling the story of one of Mate Rimac’s greatest inspirations and countrymen, Nikola Tesla. Just like the Rimac Nevera, the new rollercoaster is a world record-breaker, featuring the steepest launch angle of any coaster, at 105 degrees. It also features four periods of catapult-like acceleration up to 90kph, including one backwards launch, taking riders through seven inversions with 2.2 seconds of continued weightlessness. Thrill-seekers are in for a taste of the incredible performance - comparable to that of the Nevera! This compelling one-off creation has been carefully crafted to bring the owner's personal vision to life. The handover event, held in collaboration with Rimac Rotterdam, operated by PON Luxury Cars, was a celebration not only of the Nevera's debut in the Netherlands, but also of a strong partnership committed to automotive excellence. Setting the tone for the party with its compelling customisation that nods to the Dutch national flag, this unique Nevera reflects the owner's deep appreciation for their homeland. Our story, grown from garage to global on the vision of one man within a country of just over three million inhabitants and no automotive history, is one of great national pride for Croatia. And so it was a special occasion when the first Croatian customer recently took delivery of his Rimac Nevera from Manhattan Motorcars in New York. This Nevera was ordered by Dr. Branko Škovrlj, a New Jersey-based Croatian neurosurgeon and following the visit to Croatia to meet the team and take part in the "Home of Rimac" experience, Branko opted for an aggressive configuration that would match the Nevera’s hypercar personality; a deep Predator Black ‘Fantasy’ finish – with Red Blaze leather interior. During the delivery event, when Mate Rimac personally presented Branko's Nevera, he said: Today, we share a special moment with Branko, as he becomes the first Croatian, next to myself, to own a Nevera but also an ambassador of what we’ve built here – pushing the boundaries of possibility. We both proudly represent our home country on a global scale, and it’s been a privilege to have Branko so involved with his Nevera, now a part of the Rimac owners family. The Rimac Nevera takes center stage in Toronto at the Canadian International Auto Show. In partnership with Grand Touring Automobiles (GTA), the official dealer partner for Rimac Automobili in Toronto, the Nevera forms part of a 50th anniversary display by GTA in the same year that the Rimac Group also celebrates its 15th. At the show opening, hosted by Townsend Bell, we were honored to have Mate Rimac, CEO of Bugatti Rimac and Paul Cummings, CEO of GTA share the stage with Richard Hammond who arrived in style, reunited with the Nevera. Together, they discussed automotive milestones of recent years and the events ahead, igniting excitement among attendees.
