Today we celebrate the launch of the MOCA token but for many the utility and purpose of a token is still not well understood. In this article I try to explain how we view tokens (such as The Sandbox SAND token as well for example) as a completely new way of owning an asset class that previously lacked an ownership construct. In general we view them as a novel way to own a piece of the network effect and is why Animoca Brands is so focused on delivering digital property rights through tokenization.
