Richard performing at the House of Blues Houston in January 2019

Did you see her? Dawn Angeliqué Richard, the New Orleans native with Haitian roots, wore a red tree dress to the 2024 Grammys that she and the designer say reflects their cultures, including Mardi Gras.

The “Bubblegum” singer’s “Arboreal” dress is a Khosrov Melkonyan design that took 1,200 leaves and five months to make, according to a JustJared.com report. Richard, 40, paired the garment with the company’s “Thorn” hoop earrings.
