Smart Meters Specialist (Ref. Code: SMS_07.24)

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

the key responsibilities of this role include:

·      Manage and resolve technical errors or defects

·      Coordinate with the Software Support Team to manage and resolve technical issues effectively.

·      Oversee and manage meter data collection systems such as HES/AMI.

·      Work closely with the Software Support and Operation Team

·      Engage with customers to develop and implement meter firmware and configurations, ensuring smoothly operation of applications.

·      Actively contribute to process enhancements and advancements

Education

·      University Degree in Electrical Engineering or other related, quantitative fields

Experience

·      At least four years of experience in relative field

Skills

·      Experience in working with solutions involving both software and hardware.

·      Electrical engineering

·      Smart meters and configuration tools

·      Headend (HES) / Advance Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Systems

·      IT Skills are a strong plus

·      Experience and knowledge of electric utility smart metering (Telemetering) is desirable.

System Administrator (Ref. Code: SA_07.24)

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

·      Contribution from System Administration perspective to Design, Implementation and Maintenance of Telemetering, Data Management, e-mobility and Smart City solutions.

·      Analyse and study requirements, implement a complete well-functioning system, administer and maintain it.

Education

·       University Degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering or other related, quantitative fields

·      Electrical engineering skills (Electrical Networks, Electrical Measurements) is a plus

·      Post-graduate degree MSc in Engineering, IT / Computer Science or related area is a plus

Experience

·      At least four years of experience in a relative field (in a research establishment or a company)

Skills

·      Experience in linux /windows administration (installation, configuration, debugging OS and applications)

·      Experience in Database Administration (i.e. Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL)

·      Experience with one or more popular scripting languages (i.e. Powershell, Bash, python)

·      Familiarity with Firewalls and VPN systems

·      Familiarity with Monitoring tools (e.g. Zabbix, Grafana)

·      Understanding of Agile Software Development methodologies
