A leading global bunker trading organization, dedicated to providing exceptional fuel solutions and services to the maritime industry are offering the opportunity for three Bunker Trader to join their growing commercial team.
Job Description: In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with both existing and potential clients, negotiating fuel prices, and ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of our products. You will play a key role in expanding our market presence and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, actively seeking out potential clients in the maritime industry.
Negotiate fuel prices and terms of sales with clients, ensuring competitive and profitable deals.
Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of fuel.
Monitor market trends, fuel prices, and competitor activities to provide accurate and up-to-date information to clients.
Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses to senior management.
Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to network and stay informed about market developments.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Bunker Trader with strong knowledge of the bunker fuel market and maritime industry.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
Highly motivated, with a proactive approach to business development and client acquisition.
Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
The role is onsite in Athens with a salary range of €90-120k, depending on experience, with the anticipation of earning almost double through sales performance related bonus. Over the last couple of years the majority of the team have achieved on average of 100% bonus.
