Security Network Engineer (SNE)

In Natech, we are looking for a Security Network Engineer who is eager for protecting our network and systems from cyber attacks. The job holder will play a vital role in supporting our IT infrastructure and operations. The potential candidate will cooperate with the senior IT staff, to support in managing and maintaining our technology systems, providing technical support to end-users, and contributing to various IT projects and initiatives to safeguard sensitive data and ensure the integrity and confidentiality. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional development and growth in the field of information technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage security solutions to protect the company's network, systems and data.
• Install, administer, and troubleshoot network security solutions
• Update software with the latest security patches and ensure the proper defenses are present for each network resource
• Configure security systems, analyze security requirements, and recommend improvements
• Monitor network traffic for suspicious behavior and report immediately with the aim of implementing best practice solutions
• Create network policies and authorization roles and defend against unauthorized access, modifications, and destruction.-scale security projects
• Consult and stay updated with the latest technology developments being able to provide technical advice and best practices
• Perform limited in scope vulnerability and penetration tests, identifying, and defending against threats
• Train staff to understand and use security protocols
• Closely collaborate with the Information Security Office to ensure that all measurements under security regulations are in place
  
  
  

Requirements

• Proven work experience of at least 3 years as a Security Network Engineer in a technology company, preferably with multinational exposure
• Holder any of the accredited security certifications (e.g, CCNA, CCNP, SSCP, CCSP, Forti-certified)
• Strong understanding and knowledge of networks, and security systems, frameworks, standards and best practices
• Advanced understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, IDPS, and network concepts
• Experience with cloud Azure security will be considered an asset.
• Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them
• Business experience in operations continuity and disaster recovery plans
• Understanding of patch management with the ability to deploy patches in a timely manner while understanding business impact.
