📣 Quick update on the situation in Rhodes: Forest fires have been raging for over a week, because they are hard to control due to the heat wave and winds. Especially the south of the island is badly affected. But thankfully, all affected FTI guests on the Greek island are well and out of danger. Our agency Meeting Point Hellas was able to accommodate and care for them. For guests who wanted to leave early, we had to rely on the very limited flight capacities of airlines, but we were able to secure seats for unscheduled return trips. Yesterday evening the last FTI guests were flown to Germany, all other holidaymakers remain on the island at their own request. For upcoming holidays, the FTI GROUP gives top priority to safety. We are therefore canceling bookings with arrivals by July 30, 2023 for hotels on #Rhodes that are within the affected regions in the south. Travelers to the north of Rhodes are more than welcome from Thursday on again. However, we also offers options for those who prefer to make new arrangements: Customers with bookings for Rhodes and arrivals by the end of this week can change to another destination or to cancel – both free of charge. #FTIGROUP #FTInews #wecare
