MDN URL

https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Glossary/Payload_header

What specific section or headline is this issue about?

The whole page

What information was incorrect, unhelpful, or incomplete?

RFC 7231 is obsoleted by RFC 9110. There are specific changes that affect this page, from https://httpwg.org/specs/rfc9110.html#rfc.section.B.3

The terms "payload" and "payload body" have been replaced with "content", to better align with its usage elsewhere (e.g., in field names) and to avoid confusion with frame payloads in HTTP/2 and HTTP/3. (Section 6.4)

What did you expect to see?

That this page is rewritten to be consistent with RFC 9110, so that it provides consistent terminology across the whole of MDN.

Do you have any supporting links, references, or citations?

https://httpwg.org/specs/rfc9110.html#rfc.section.B.3

Do you have anything more you want to share?

No response
