Hi @arukiidou,

The idea discussed within the team is that we'd like to switch to OTel as a default for k6. And, considering that Influx has been causing issues in the past and is not a reliable solution anymore, we don't have active plans to officially maintain Influx outputs for versions v2, v3, etc.

Regarding the existing output (Influx v1), we'll most likely moved into a (separate) extension and put into maintenance mode. But for now, it will remain as-is for a while.

Does that sound good? Any thoughts?

Do you mean that you want to take the responsibility of maintaining xk6-output-influxdbv1 (the current implementation), or that you would like to work on your own extension to add support for the other versions of Influx? 🤔
