Over 270 individuals have been given a new chance at improving their lives and that of their communities after graduating from Guinness Ghana’s Learning for Life Programme in Accra. Over 58% of the graduating class were women who joined the fully funded training programme organised in partnership with the Youth Employment Agency, Ghana Tourism Authority, and the Diageo Bar Academy. Managing Director of Guinness Ghana, Felicite Nson, speaking at the graduation ceremony noted, “we hope that, as this maiden edition of the Learning for Life program opens the opportunity for members of our society to take part to build the requisite skills and capabilities in the hospitality industry, we will see great entrepreneurs, hoteliers, Master mixologists, and the likes. emerge among our graduates.” #LearningForLife #Society2030 #SpiritOfProgress Lynessa Darko Yvonne Alhassan Philip Ashon Sylvia Owusu-Ankomah Estella Muzito Ngozi Aghomi James Boakye SARFO (MBA) Rudolph Ayertey Justin Mollel

  • Guinness Ghana’s Supply Chain Director, Ngozi Aghomi has been appointed as the Manufacturing Operations Director of Diageo Plainfield in Plainfield, Illinois. Prior to joining Guinness Ghana Breweries Plc, Ngozi Aghomi had efficiently managed several VUCA Supply Chain Operations including for Diageo’s Guinness Nigeria Plc. (through COVID 19 Pandemic, END-SARS Crisis, etc.) Before joining Diageo, she worked with Kimberly-Clark (KC) SSA’s West, East and Central Africa (WECA) as the Head of Supply Chain. She also managed an intricately complex Supply Chain for Nestle Nigeria Plc. Ngozi has been a valuable member of the leadership team and an Executive Board member of GGB Plc. In her time as the Supply Chain Director of Guinness Ghana Breweries Plc., Ngozi’s contributions successfully guided the team to ensure key operational efficiencies and improvements, while navigating Ghana’s unprecedented double-digit inflation for the past two years. Her passion for people influenced the improvement in the gender balance in GGB Plc., driven by the timely introduction of the Supply STEM Program that increased our female population in Supply Chain from 2% in F21 to 18% in F24.

  • Ghana’s leading beverage business, Guinness Ghana, has handed over solar powered water facilities to the residents of Kayoro Saboro in the Kassena Nankana West district in the upper east region and Ullo-Dantie in the Jirapa municipal assembly in the upper west region in line with its Water for Life project. The facility’s combined output will be 125,560 cubic meters of water yearly and will serve over 18,000 people in both catchment areas. In addition, the facility in the Kayoro Saboro District is also linked to the Kayoro Health Centre with the aim to deliver WASH services to enhance the effective delivery of public health to people within the district and its environs. The facility, according to the Managing Director of Guinness Ghana, Felicite Nson, represents the company’s belief that sustainable access to Water, Sanitation and Hygiene is central to meeting global development goals on poverty, health, education, and economic growth. Corporate Relations Director, Sylvia Owusu-Ankomah added that, “with the solar powered and mechanized options we deliver, we have given many women, children, and community member the opportunity to a low stressed life especially by reducing the long distances of travel and eliminated the possible infections which come with contaminated water consumptions.” Yvonne Alhassan Lynessa Darko Philip Ashon Justin Mollel Samuel Markin John Osei Akoto
