Despite the sadness of such a great loss let us celebrate the enormous work that you have done especially in the realm of education within Somerset. Thank you, Philip, for the great pleasure of knowing you, working with you, honouring the challenges that you set and for the massive professional support that you gave me. Both Anthea and I greatly appreciated and enjoyed the social pleasure and friendship over the many years. You have left a great legacy to be cherished.

Shocked and saddened by hearing the news of the passing of such a lovely man, I have delivered garden supplies to Philip for many years and I can honestly say he was a gentleman with a heart of gold My thought and prayers are with Philips family at this sad Time. Fly high my friend. Andrew H
