Thanks to its unique model, GEKKO Group, a subsidiary of Accor Group, is now a key player in BtoB online hotel distribution addressing both leisure and corporate segments thanks to its various subsidiaries Hcorpo, Teldar Travel, Infinite Hotel, Miles Attack and Gekko Technology.
The Group's ambition is to continue its expansion and open up new markets, which is why we are recruiting an International Growth Director (M/F) to fill a new position.
Reporting to the Managing Director, and member of the Executive Committee, the International Growth Director will own the development and implementation of strategic plans to launch new markets (countries) for all the brands of Gekko Group.
The role of the International Growth Director is to identify business opportunities in foreign markets and to be able to start from scratch and actually get things off the ground.
Key Responsibilities :
Along with the Brand’s CCOs set the international expansion roadmap.
Perform market analysis to identify and prioritize areas to be developed
Implement Gekko’s International Expansion strategy to launch the activity and sustain growth in various geographic regions.
Select external regional partners or GSAs and serve as their key point of contact. Own budgets and negotiations with these external partners.
Analyze and report on key drivers impacting performance and speed in the international expansion; present regular updates.
Requirements :
Proven experience as a international development manager in the travel / hospitality industries (B2B)
Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast paced environment
Team player with the ability to work independently
Knowledge of several foreign languages
Willingness to travel regularly
Strong leadership skills
