Many achievements have been made by the community of microbiome in the past few months. To name a few: 👉 The European Parliament approved the new Regulation on standards of quality and safety for substances of human origin (SoHO) intended for human application. 👉 A new general chapter on Phage therapy medicinal products (5.31) was adopted by the European Pharmacopoeia Commission. 👉 Vedanta Biosciences, Inc., a company that is developing a bacterial consortium candidate for the prevention of recurrent C. difficile infection (rCDI) enrolled the first patient in the global Phase 3 RESTORATiVE303 clinical study. 👉 Ferring Pharmaceuticals and PharmaBiome AG entered into a new microbiome R&D collaboration and exclusive licensing agreement.
