These Riotlings had some thoughts regarding the names of our current tacticians. So we asked them to come up with new ones.

We’re taking the first week of July off to rest, recharge, and stretch our wrists. This will be our fifth year taking a summer break, so we’ve got the drill down now. Patch timelines may shift to accommodate, and, if so, individual game teams will share the specifics. In the meantime, some teams like live operations, anti-cheat, security, and others will be staggering their breaks to make sure everything keeps running smoothly. Knowing Rioters, you’ll probably see more of us playing Swarm on PBE, getting our trigger fingers just right on VAL console, bringing the menace of Maokai to mobile, running Yasuo down the Path of Champions, and taking a trip down memory lane with Pengu’s Party. This past weekend over 100 South LA middle and high school students joined us at the SoLa Impact Beehive for the FutureFest Gaming & Tech Summit. Students heard keynotes from industry leaders including our own Paul Bellezza, who shared takeaways from his career as Riot’s first intern to now executive producer of League of Legends. The day was capped off with interactive workshops led by members of Riot Noir and Unidos centered around creative, music, engineering, and more, along with a tech expo and career fair, giving the chance for students to mingle with local game companies and colleges to learn about future opportunities.
