Because demand response is one of the key levers to decarbonise our energy production and manage our consumption, we are very proud to have participated in the €40m operation carried out by Enerdigit, a company specialising in flexibility solutions for the electricity network, through our impact growth fund #RingAltitude. 🤩 Demand response helps monitor and therefore optimise energy consumption, and gives flexibility to the grid, facilitating the set up of new renewable energy production sites. Positioned mainly on small and medium-sized industrial sites, Enerdigit makes it possible to add new demand-side management capacity to the electricity grid every year, while enabling industrial companies to offset additional costs associated with the rising cost of electricity by lowering their bills. In short, demand-side management rewards manufacturers for their commitment and plays an active part in decarbonising French industry. ⚡️ With this operation, Enerdigit intends to develop a new electricity storage solution and aims to achieve a demand response capacity of 600 MW over the next five years. Such capacity could enable coal-fired power stations to be shut down. Welcome and congrats Bénédicte Pléau 🙌 Pierre-Alexis de Vauplane Laure Tallon Geoffroy Bragadir Nicolas CELIER Marie-Capucine Lemétais Alban de La Bretèche Thomas Marsal #ImpactInvesting #Impact #EnergyTransition #EnergyEfficiency #FlexibilitySolutions #EnergyManagement

Two months ago, we gathered our ecosystem (entrepreneurs, LPs, partners, experts) for a special moment of discussion and reflection: our #ImpactGrowthDay 🌞 For this second edition of our now annual event, we were delighted to welcome some inspirational speakers on the theme of vitality. They talked about water, the ultimate vital resource (Charlène Descollonges) and about finding ways to put vitality back at the heart of our economic models (Marie Laure Basset, Leslie Ossete, Virginie Raisson-Victor and Benjamin-Coriat). We hope that these words will continue to infuse our ecosystem and help to bring out new ideas and create value. Thank you to all the participants! See you next year 🙌 And I'll yield the floor to our ecosystem, which talks about our #ImpactGrowthDay far better than we do 👇

🙌 Ring Capital Nicolas CELIER Geoffroy Bragadir #UE #RH #remuneration #recrutement #talents #transparence

Don't worry, it's not back to school yet! 😰 But what if we took advantage of the summer to ask ourselves some questions? 🌞 To reflect on how future managers and leaders are trained, how our business models are conceived, and how our activities fit into their ecosystem. This is exactly what we invite you to do in this last edition of #BOTH before summer with the interview of Marie-Sarah Mailliard, co-founder of RegenSchool. In this interview, you will also find more about the origins and ambitions of RegenSchool and about what lies behind the regenerative paradigm. → Link to the interview in the comments section 💌 Subscribe to #BOTH, the newsletter about impact and growth by Ring Capital, directly in the article. #impactinvesting #impact #regen #regenerativeeconomy

Good news never stop flowing with #GENERATIONS powered by EDHEC 🤩 We are excited to reveal our impact seed fund's latest deal: Orus Energy! ⚡️ ️Orus Energy is an energy flexibility platform enabling commercial building operators to automatically shift flexible loads off carbon peak times, thereby supporting the balance and resilience of the grid. All thanks to Orus’ AI-powered thermal inertia algorithms. 🔎 Demand-side flexibility is a key lever of the energy transition as it plays a critical role in balancing production and consumption. Still, it is not used to its full potential. With Orus Energy, co-founders Théophile KARILA, Fanny Sauvée and Alexandre Girard’s ambition is to unleash electricity flexibility potential on a large scale, by helping commercial building operators monitor and adjust their energy usage and by remunerating them in doing so. Orus Energy has already generated traction and counts over 1 million m² of real estate registered over its platform and deployments in big-name clients’ buildings, including IKEA and La Poste Immobilier. The funds will go towards speeding up the company’s deployment and product development. Happy to be part of Orus Energy's €2.2 million pre-seed round alongside b2venture, Asterion Ventures and business angels Myriam Maestroni and Pierre Trémolières. ✨ Gaspard Martin Sibylle Behaghel Eve Sebag Geoffroy Bragadir Nicolas CELIER Sandra Armstrong Jean-François Drweski Didier Kuhn Julia Perroux EDHEC Business School
