Maison Glenmorangie encapsulates the wonder of nature with an extraordinary 23-year-old single malt created by Dr Bill Lumsden and botanical artist Azuma Makoto. This unique limited edition intertwines Glenmorangie whisky aged in bourbon casks, with spirit finished in Chardonnay wine casks from Burgundy. Inspired by its rich, floral, and earthy notes, Azuma Makoto crafted a botanical masterpiece that graces the whisky’s packaging. Our internal employee-led group “Shakers” recently organized a talk for our teams based in Paris, hosted by renowned author and professor Erin Meyer and entitled “The Richness of Mixing Cultures in an Organization”. During the talk, Erin shared insights on how understanding and embracing cultural differences can enrich an organization. She shed light on various dimensions that define how cultures vary, such as communicating, evaluating, persuading, leading, or disagreeing. This discussion was followed by a roundtable with Paula Fallowfield, our EVP Global Human Resources, and Leonardo Ferracina, our Managing Director Global Travel Retail. As a multi-cultural company, we believe that a good understanding of cultural nuances leads to improved collaboration, creativity, inclusion and productivity across teams and regions.
