HomePod Audio sync issues among HomePods

With the latest OS, I am seeing (hearing) audio sync issues across HomePods when playing music from Apple Music. Things will start out fine but it seems like with every few songs they slip out of sync by a fraction of a second, creating this super nasty echo. If I pause then play, everything comes back into order. I’m also seeing this between different HomePods in different rooms and within a stereo paired set...

Anyone else noticing this?

My Homepods (blue) never played the 4th song on every album this year, with Monterey & Somona
so they are in a box now, next to the macbook air 2020.

Mine are terribly out of sync regularly. These things worked much better when they were new. I also can’t seem to airplay to my Mac mini at the same time as the AirPods without it being a big mess or not working at all
