This bold initiative seeks to honor human creativity in the face of the rising tide of machine-generated art. In underscoring this commitment, ALL members are required to submit hand-painted works SIGNED with their personal mark, initials, or signature. Only authenticated artwork will be eligible for inclusion in the group's IMAGES GALLERY and for consideration as Homepage Featured art. Before deciding to JOIN, please read all the rules carefully to ensure you understand the importance of meeting eligibility criteria. Also, review some of the uplifted, traditional art examples below, as they exemplify the styles we strive to uphold. This collective provides an exclusive retreat for traditional artists to showcase their extraordinary art, made with wet media using manual tools on flat canvases, often requiring a drying period, and produced without the assistance of computers or artificial intelligence. Keep in mind, your art has the potential to be a contest winner, as numerous celebrated artists did not anticipate their success. Be sure to sign your distinctive works to certify authenticity and eliminate any uncertainty regarding the artist's identity. All content must be appropriate for a general audience. Artwork submissions are thoroughly reviewed with the potential to win in consideration, ensuring they adhere to the group's guidelines for conformity before being accepted.

Invitation emails for new FAA-sponsored art contests are dispatched to provide Members with the opportunity to submit their eligible entries. Announcements of winners are circulated to reveal who garnered the most votes, as well as to acknowledge any additional bonus selections with supportive recognition. The three main things to know for contests is to match the theme, media guidelines, and that Admin Choice awards only go to artists with signed images. These contests offer no material prizes, but we offer a VIRTUAL TROPHY and a distinguished comment bestowed upon the entry that receives the highest number of computerized votes (from both FAA Members and the general public) tallied by FAA's vote counting system. The rise in popularity of these contests can be attributed to the grouping of similarly themed, hand painted images within comparable artworks.

Artists select a profile image or avatar that reflects their individuality and warmth, distinguishing them from commercial profiles. Those wishing to become a Member must first acquire their photo or personal avatar identification. A minimum of mid-level skill in fine arts is expected. Read further details on group restrictions regarding review requirements below:

Please do not submit textile (repeating) patterns, photography art, black and white or monochrome schemes, and any artwork created or altered using computerized, digital, AI, or other artificial technologies. Images may be declined if they show glare, are blurry, or for any other reason deemed unsuitable (no notification). Text may be considered for its potential to distract. As such, any image may be discreetly rejected, with only the artist being aware of the non-acceptance. All decisions are final. Do not include images with any borders. While many creations are undoubtedly beautiful, they may not be suitable for this specific group or contests, making the acceptance process inherently selective for the given style or theme.

Homepage features: Hand-selected art is added to our group images file, from which the BEST may become featured paintings, chosen for standing out among their peers. All must be signed in order to be considered.
