THEME *Hand Painted Summer Decor* ART CONTEST fun! Only display ELIGIBLE entries (1-5)

#1. Match Theme ~ Must match contest TITLE AND CONCEPT within terms #2. Terms: read ALL Overview rules (same for all of this group's contests) to qualify as a FIT to participate? Please familiarize yourself with this Overview before entering. as adherence to rules is to be expected. We regret any necessary disqualifications of submitted artwork to maintain fairness to all entrants. The administrator's rulings are final. Unqualified images may be replaced with a different piece but note that resubmitting same or 'moving' entries to change positions is prohibited (to avoid wasting time of volunteers repeatedly reviewing same submissions) = images could be withdrawn. SPECIFIC CONTEST THEME: *HAND PAINTED SUMMER DECOR* featuring an image which undoutedly speaks to the season of Summer: SCENERY OR EVENTS OF THE hot, colorful, fun, active, unique, amazing, vacation season of SUMMER.

GROUP RULES FOR CONTENT: Respect all voters (FAA members, visiting Non-members & the General Public of ALL ages): Images MUST be family-friendly, with nothing depicting evil or violence, political opinions, sexually suggestive, abusive, or negatively inappropriate material. Submissions must be the artists' own original artwork. This online art contest is hosted by FAA Group, *HandPainted Brushstrokes* (joining the sponsoring group is not required for participation, although you are invited to check out the group's rules to consider). Entry into this contest signifies acknowledgment that this is for enjoyment and exposure only, with no actual prizes being awarded. At the conclusion, a Virtual Trophy and an honorary recognition IMAGE COMMENT will be posted by the Admin Host on Artist's image page.

No altered images, digitally created, AI-generated, mixed media, unspecified mediums, or digitally enhanced art are permitted. No repetitive (textile style) designs, no photography art, collages, or drawing/sketches. No charcoal, chalk, oil pastels, pastels, pencil, or other dry powdery or rubbed media. Eligible paintings are vibrantly colorful, AVOIDING black & white or monochromatic schemes. Submissions should be free of blur, glare, pixelation, featuring clean edging with no frames or borders. Paintings are defined as creations using WET MEDIA (which requires drying time) such as acrylics, watercolors, gouache, ink, or oils, applied with traditional art tools onto flat surfaces.

AUTHENTICATION: Artists are reminded to authenticate their submissions with a signature or handwritten mark, although this is not mandatory to win 1st Place. However, Admin Choice awards are exclusively bestowed upon works with such verification to be awarded this BONUS honor. See more details below.

VOTING, consistent across ALL contests by this group, will solely determine the first-place winner. due to a persistent website glitch that causes intermittent shifts in the positions on the Winner Board, perpetually altering the sequence of image order in display. Working around this has been confusing but was informed FAA says it must remain that way. Consequently, the Admin has decided it would be better to recognize 1st PLACE per votes, then follow-up with Bonus: 🏆 TOP WINNER ADMIN'S CHOICE virtual trophy awards. These would be selected from your top number computerized voted choices. Please note artwork without a signature will not be eligible for this specific accolade. Final Note: Due to health constraints or other unforeseen issues, the start date of the contest may be rescheduled to another date at any time without notice.
