Wildflower Landscapes

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE SUBMITTING!!!

**This contest is sponsored by the Go Take a Hike Photography Group; any images submitted should represent things that one may find out on the trail, in a natural setting – unless contest rules specifically allow exceptions.**

Show us a photo where the subject is a landscape of wildflowers, following these rules:


1. Photography Only. No post-processing digital alterations other than basic edits and black and white conversions, and no AI, digital painting, mixed media, selective color, false backgrounds, added graphics or text allowed. No drone photography, aerial photography or trail camera shots allowed.


2. Your subjects must be a broad landscape which include an abundance of wildflowers. For clarification, I need a nice landscape view of a hillside or a field or a stand of trees in the woods which is accompanied by A LARGE NUMBER of WILD flowers. No close-ups of the flowers themselves will be accepted. A spot of color barely discernable in a field will not be acceptable. It needs to be abundantly clear that your landscape images have lots of beautiful wildflowers in them. See contest logo and description for an example.


3. Your images must be captured in a natural environment. NO SHOTS TAKEN IN ANY KIND OF GARDEN (Including Botanical Gardens) OR YARDS ALLOWED. People, pets, captive or domestic animals are NOT allowed. Man-made objects of any kind are NOT allowed. Any shots taken in farms, zoos, aquariums, wildlife rehabs, neighborhoods, marinas, or built-up areas are NOT allowed.


4. As always, there is ABSOLUTELY NO VOTER SOLICITATION ALLOWED in any Go Take a Hike Photo Group contest. Please allow your images to speak for themselves! Also, no position-bumping. If you submit images, then leave them where they are. Pulling and resubmitting to get your images to the front will result in your images being removed.



I reserve the right to remove any photos which do not meet the contest parameters. I look forward to seeing everybody’s work!

Each participant may submit 2 images.

1)   You must be a member of FineArtAmerica.com in order to cast votes in this contest.   Your account must have been active at least 30 days prior to the start of the contest in order to vote.

2)   You may only vote once per image.

3)   You may vote for as many images as you like... but only once for any given image.
