Excited to share our work on advancing Alzheimer's disease (AD) diagnostics! We developed a novel deep learning framework called the Multiple Graph Gaussian Embedding (MG2G). This model maps high-dimensional resting-state brain networks into a low-dimensional latent space, allowing for the detection of subtle brain connectivity changes. These latent embeddings can be used for early AD prediction and statistical analysis of brain region alterations. MG2G has successfully detected intrinsic latent dimensions in magnetoencephalography (MEG) brain networks, predicted progression of mild cognitive impairment to AD, and identified regions with significant network alterations. This work represents a significant step towards early diagnosis and understanding the pathological cascade of AD. #AlzheimersResearch #DeepLearning #Neuroimaging #MEG #BrainHealth #ArtificialIntelligence #EarlyDiagnosis https://lnkd.in/eBAwPGXd

We’re delighted to share this article from customer partners University of Nebraska Medical Center, Boys Town National Research Hospital and The Mind Research Network using Magnetoencephalography (MEG) to investigate the “Effects of endogenous testosterone on oscillatory activity during verbal working memory in youth”. Participants underwent MEG recording whilst completing a modified Sternberg verbal working memory task, allowing behavioural responses to be synced with MEG data.
