📰🚀 We're super excited to double-down on toddle in a $4.3 million Seed with our friends at PSV, Lifeline Ventures, and fantastic angles including Typeform co-founder David Okuniev. You can read a great overview in TechCrunch, but we love how this team isn't just creating a product, they're creating a new movement around how complex web apps are developed. As Inventure's Kevin Lösch put it, "The barriers to complex app creation are gone, and it empowers individuals, small groups, and large corporations to innovate and compete on a level playing field. It’s a democratization of innovation. It accelerates the pace of technology, unlocks new growth, and fundamentally reshapes who participates in the tech revolution, especially when selling work and not software." Toddle is the best way to bring something new into the world. Sign up today to see what you're missing: https://toddle.dev/

We're excited to announce our investment in Valo, the AI-powered solution bringing order to enterprise SaaS chaos. As Timo and Lauri write on our blog: with the average enterprise powered by hundreds of SaaS apps, IT teams are struggling to keep up. Valo.ai the admin's new best friend, using AI to proactively manage and secure SaaS environments, starting first with Salesforce. At Inventure we're always on the lookout for founders who have deep domain expertise and the ability to build category-defining companies. Jari Salomaa, Mika Ståhlberg and Hannu Varjoranta fit that mold perfectly with a deep background at Salesforce and strong cybersecurity expertise. Excited to be joined in this round with Spintop Ventures and a stellar group of angels from the cybersecurity field including Mikko Hypponen and Henri Lindberg.

Today our portfolio company Canatu concluded a share exchange agreement with Lifeline SPAC I with the goal of forming a publicly listed company. As Canatu’s first institutional investor back in 2010, this exit showcases what’s possible when investors truly partner for the long haul. At Inventure, we believe early-stage deep tech investors must truly understand the technology and opportunity to roll up our sleeves and to work alongside our portfolio companies through every challenge. As we look towards Canatu becoming public, we have the same excitement about Canatu as we did in 2010. Canatu’s Carbon NanoBud technology is widely validated and commercialized. With a substantial war chest to fuel further innovation and growth, Canatu’s CNBs can potentially go into a variety of different industries in the years to come. As a longtime chair and board member Sami Lampinen writes in our blog, “That’s where I’m probably the most excited — this exit isn’t an endpoint, it’s a new beginning of a long-term story. Canatu has all the potential to be there for 2040 and beyond to take a portfolio of new material innovations forward.”

Today we’re super excited to announce we’ve doubled-down on Steep in their €4 million Seed round with Connect Ventures, Alliance VC, Antler and Greens Ventures! Steep is revolutionizing business intelligence, making data accessible and actionable for everyone in an organization. Founded by Johan Baltzar (Spotify, Kry, iZettle data lead) and Nino Höglund (Chief Design officer at iZettle), Steep bridges the gap between data stacks and end-users. Some key highlights: - With the modern data stack we collect more data than ever, but today insights are not ending up in employees hands without the help of overworked data analysts. - Steep provides a unified metrics layer empowers all employees to explore data themselves. - The company is already transforming workflows at fast growing companies like Voi. With BI set to hit $55.5B by 2032, Steep is poised to lead the next wave of analytics as the incumbent BI solutions fall out of favor. We strongly believe Steep will be the category leader in this space. Link to our blog in the comments!

Hej to all of the fantastiska people of Sweden! :) Your Finnish brethren are requesting your assistance :)) We're about to launch Starcart in Sweden, and need your help testing the app. Starcart is "the everything cart", a tool for buying almost anything from almost anywhere. Like a Booking.com for ecommerce. We ask if could you help us test Starcart this weekend. It's very little work and good rewards :)) and all you need is a Swedish address and BankID. DM me if interested! Any help would be jättefint, härrligt och underbart :)) tack så mycket...!!
