Youth Opportunity Day (7/24) - County Fair

The Boonville-Oneida County Fair is excited to extend an invitation to the children in your Oneida County youth program to enjoy a day at the Fair for FREE. 

This opportunity is available for 1,000 youth. Registration will close once the limit is reached.

Working with the Fair Board, Oneida County Executive Anthony J. Picente Jr. and the Oneida County Board of Legislators are excited to sponsor "Youth Opportunity Day" at the Boonville Fair on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, 

Throughout the afternoon  10:30-4pm, youth will be able to explore the fairgrounds and take part in:

• FREE Educational Games and Activities in the Exhibit Hall


• Grandstand Shows


• Watch the 4-H Horse Show, Dairy Show or Poultry Show 


• Coleman Brothers Rides 1-4pm

Each child registered to attend this event will be provided with a wristband to enjoy the carnival rides  (Starting at 1pm) and food vouchers ( Starting at Noon) for some delicious Fair food! 

Transportation: (Busses can arrive at the Fairgrounds as early as 10:30am)  

If your Agency is ready to schedule bussing. Please reach out to Jennifer Caldwell at Birnie Bus, 315-723-2163 to schedule your transportation needs prior to registering.  Make sure you mention Youth Opportunity Day at the Boonville Fair.  

The bus company will need to know:

• How many youth and chaperones.


• The location of pick up, drop off,


• Arrival and departure times. 

If your agency has its own transportation but would like to be reimbursed for the bussing costs please send an invoice to:

Deadline to submit bussing reimbursement invoices is August 5, 2024. 

Please note the number of people riding the bus must match the number of people you are registering here.  The number listed on this registration is how we determine the number of food vouchers and ride passes you will receive.
