Parques Reunidos continues to make progress in reducing the impact our parks have on the environment. Therefore, Zoo Aquarium de Madrid has inaugurated a new electric train to facilitate visitors' experience. Equipped with a 160-kilowatt motor and lithium batteries, it allows for an autonomy of up to 200 kilometers. Additionally, a permanent exhibition has been inaugurated, under the motto “Committed to the environment and society”, highlighting the efforts in sustainability, conservation and accessibility at Zoo Aquarium de Madrid. The INSTITUTO PARA LA CALIDAD TURÍSTICA ESPAÑOLA Y LA SOSTENIBILIDAD (ICTES) and UNE Asociación Española de Normalización have presented the new UNE Standard 0083:2024 'Contribution of tourism organizations to the Sustainable Development Goals'. Since 2022, Parques Reunidos use this standard to guide our contribution to the SDG as part of the “S”-Sustainable Tourism certification of our Spanish parks and guarantees our collaboration to the #SDGs, reducing our environmental footprint and promoting responsible consumption of resources. In our commitment to reduce our environmental footprint and promote responsible consumption of resources, our Dutch park Attractie- & Vakantiepark Slagharen, installed past year water filtration systems using reverse osmosis in the Aqua Mexicana water attractions area. The positive impact of this project on the park's environmental management has a triple value: it reduces energy consumption, decreases water consumption, and improves waste management. Additionally, the project has the added benefit of reducing water pollution and the amount of waste sent to the sewer system. #Sustainability #WaterConservation #EnergyEfficiency

Isidora Díaz Heredia, our Chief HSE & Sustainability Officer, participated in the event 'Casilla Empresa Solidaria', a campaign organized by Plataforma del Tercer Sector and in which #ParquesReunidos participates, that gives all companies paying the Corporate Tax the opportunity to allocate 0.7% of their taxation to fund social projects. Parques Reunidos announces the appointment of John Reilly as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the Group's US region and Palace Entertainment sub-subsidiary. John will also retain his role as COO of the Parques Reunidos Group Executive Committee and will continue to lead the parks in Spain, Italy and the rest of Europe. John has over 30 years of professional experience in the theme park industry, and since 2019 has successfully held the position of Chief Operating Officer for the US business. #ParquesReunidos
